Senior Devops Engineer SRE 2– Prishtina (24103)

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our Site Reliability Engineering 2 (SRE 2) team in Prishtina.

What we expect from you

Experience & Skills

Proficiency in Cloud Technologies (public and private), particularly Azure
Knowledge of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (3CI/CD)
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) - Terraform or Azure Resource Manager templates  
Containerization Technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
Experience with version control systems like Git or Azure Repos
Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash and skilled in monitoring and logging Azure Monitor or other tools
Open and friendly personality with an ability to interact with people on different hierarchal and technical levels 
Well-organised person who can multitask, work independently or as part of a team and has the ability to prioritise work under pressure 
Excellent English language skills, both spoken and written (German language skills are a strong advantage) 
Knowledge of ITIL processes and working with a ticket management solution is preferable.
Microsoft certifications will be an advantage
Knowledge of Agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban, is advantageous
University Degree or equivalent (Computer Science, Engineering or Business IT studies would be a plus)

Responsabilities

Provision and manage infrastructure resources in the cloud using tools like Azure Resource Manager templates or Terraform.
Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, test, and deployment processes.
Oversee the release process working closely with development and infrastructure teams ensuring deployments and having contingency plans for rollbacks if needed.
Establish systems to monitor performance issues or errors in applications proactively.
Implement security measures while adhering to industry norms and laws.
Investigate and resolve issues related to the application, infrastructure, or deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with development and testing teams for effective communication and smooth workflow.
Create and maintain documentation related to infrastructure, deployment processes, and standard operating procedures.
Analyze and estimate resource requirements to ensure optimum performance and scalability of applications.
Implement backup and business continuity strategies to ensure data protection and business continuity.
Identify areas for improvement in the development and deployment processes and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
