Card Module Basic in Quipu Core Banking enables financial institutions not only to manage basic card-related operations, such as applying for, issuing, closing, and blocking cards, but also to create card products with certain characteristics tailored to specific target groups.

Quipu Core Banking records each step of the card issuing process, from the initial application to the point at which the card is handed to the customer.

In addition, other non-transactional processes associated with card delivery, such as receiving cards from personalisation centre, sending PINs, receiving cards/PINs, etc., are recorded and monitored in Quipu Core Banking. This makes it secure and easy for financial institutions to manage internal administrative processes related to plastic cards and the corresponding PIN envelopes.
