Data Preparation

After receiving the card application data from the bank via a secure virtual private network, Quipu processes the data to get it ready for the production of the actual plastic card.

This data preparation process generally involves correcting any errors caused by human or machine input, filling in any missing or incomplete data, adapting different special characters according to the requirements of the Payment Systems which are also supported on the personalisation machines and embossers, and merging all the data.

The prepared data can be fed into Quipu’s personalisation machines or sent to other personalisation centres for further processing.
