Quipu Processing Centre offers banks a platform for e-commerce secure payment processing solutions linked to the VISA and MasterCard payment systems. Banks can add an online acquiring channel for accepting online payment transactions through their merchants’ websites. QPC hosts a payment gateway that processes the e-commerce transactions. Traditional e-commerce transactions using static card data is supported, but to reduce the merchant’s exposure to fraud risk, QPC encourages banks to allow their merchants to process 3D Secure transactions. QPC does not participate in the merchant solicitation process: this is left to the banks themselves.
